Can you make slate blacker?

I had some work done last year that involved re-roofing. The builder re-used the old slate from the roof along with half new.
FOr some reason it didn't seem obvious at the time but irritatingly he has not mixed them up at all so there is a very stark colour divide between the old and the new and it annoys the hell out of me.

Is there anything I can put on it, like a sealer perhaps? which will darken the older weathered slate and stop it looking so st?

Home cinema and HIfi sounds a little bit like Homes and garden. Idiot rolleyes

ive used both and both work. not used the slate sealer outside though but take a look at website.
