So my trusty pressure washer is now leaking oil when I'm using it

Am I best getting it repaired or getting a new one

Are they easy to fix? Or not worth it?

Thanks.

I had one of those for years until last year when it suddenly lost about a 3rd of it's force. I stripped it down and there's about a cupful of oil used in the compressor chamber to lubricate the mechanical bits.

Easy enough to take to bits, but I couldn't find anywhere on line to buy the bits and pieces I needed to repair it.

It went in the bin and I bought a Nilfisk instead, which is crap by comparison.

It would look like you have a seal going, if you can get another it's pennies to fix, if you can't it's in the bin. Once the oil has all leaked away I don't suppose it'll last long! smile

Karcher spares should be fairly easy to source on-line but for a small unit like that it's worth thinking about simply replacing it.

I have exactly the same washer.... It's given sterling service for years.

I don't recall it being that expensive, time for a new toy I reckon. smile
