Security lights...

Need 3 security lights - can anyone recommend some?

I need to be able to manually override and need to be bright.

I see there are led ones now too - should i go for those as these lights will be fairly high up?

and yes, id say the way to go is LED ones, thats what ill be getting next.

PIR with manual override.

Will be mounted on my wall at satellite dish type height - don't want to faff about buying rubbish and then having to change it a year later.

Big garden so need decent coverage and brightness.

LED's well worth having, as for most people the halogen lamps don't last long and are normally a pain to change and a pain when they're not working.

Only downside is most of the current LED floodlights that output enough light to compare to a 500w floodlight are five to ten times the size and price, anything small and reasonably cheap is vastly inferior, these kinds of products are constantly improving at the moment though.
