Has any one used both and can offer an opinion? Comparison would be between Festool's 150/3 ETS EC and a Mirka Ceros. We're not heavily invested in Festool but do have their dust extractors and we don't have an aversion to green/white or yellow! Primary concern other than finish is dust control as it will see a lot of use in interiors during surface laquering processes. Also would be interested to hear thoughts on Mirka's Abranet system.

Thanks.

Although I`ve not tried the ETS, I can recommend the much more versatile Mirka Deros - 125 and 150 heads - which replaced my previous Ceros.
I`m a decorator, mind!
Whichever you go for, both the Festool and Mirka are very good, have excellent dust extraction, come in Systainers and the Mirka fits a Festool Extractor, usefully. Had the Festool been available I may have gone for that as I`ve got other Festool sanders but the two heads are very useful to me on the Deros. 150 for walls and 125 for w/wk flats.
If 150 alone is all you need I`d go for the Festool, using Mirka Abranet abrasives. Better resale and support too.

can't comment on the festool/mirka question, but abranet is great - I'm very impressed by it.

I went from a Festool random orbit sander to a Mirka system, the one with the transformer, and every time I use it (and I use it a lot) I'm glad I did. I have plenty of other Festool stuff by the way.

Thanks all - we went Mirka in the end - combination of Abranet and very low weight won it in the end.
