Bit of a strange one. At 18.00 every day our downstairs heating goes off and comes back at 21.00. However the timer is not set to do that, it happens even if I put the heating on constant and the upstairs still works fine. The downstairs thermostat won't 'click' when it's like that and however far up I turn it heating won't work (although upstairs one works like normal). Any ideas gratefully received.

Some stats don't click if they aren't powered up, so it seems like the power is dropping to that zone.

Could be a wiring fault. Is the hot water programmed for those times?

Double check the obvious and make sure the timer has been set correctly and not got on and off periods mixed up.

Is it precisely those times every day or give or take?

How accurate is the stat when it works? It could be badly out of calibration and thinking that the room is hotter than it is and shutting down that zone.

No way to really find out without getting stuck in with a multimeter I'm afraid.

Thanks. It's spot on the same times everyday so I reckon has to be a timer somewhere. Thanks for input. I'll get someone to look at it.
