I'm fed up with the number of Karcher washers that I've had break on me over the years and it's time to go 'professional'.

I'm basically after a pressure washer unit on a trolley or in a frame, that's either petrol or electric (ideally electric to avoid annoying the neighbours even more with my need for a clean car) and more akin to the type a car valeting place would use.

I don't really want to spend mega money on it but would welcome any PH recommendations on this?

Brendon powerwashers (sorry they are pricey) but they can be refurbed for about £80

Kranzle.

K7 (ideal if you want to run from a tank, rain water butt etc, its what i have been using for over 7 years now) or k10 which has wheels.

What is your budget? We have the biggest 13 amp Karcher they do and it was about 3 grand. These are supposed to be good http://www.briannixonltd.com/pressure-washers/

Our Karchers get a lot of use and usually last abut 3 or 4 years and zero maintenance

You want anything that uses an 'interpump' pump on it - it's what's inside all the professional washers and they are distinctive and easy to recognise. Spare parts are easy to source, but to be honest they rarely go wrong (unless you leave them full of water in winter and allow them to freeze)
