Washing Machines

Dear PH Washing Machines Gurus,

I have a Whirlpool washing machine of the sort after 2007 vintage that is getting tired. I work on a farm and it has to wash very dirty overalls and work clothes and ingest bits of straw, the odd spanner, drill bit and general debris that I forget to take out of my pockets, which buggers up the pump and door seal.

Sooooo, is there a washing machines that is better suited to this kind of abuse, considering that this only cost 250 quid and lasted 10 years, or shall I go for something similar again.

I see there is some fancy one that costs a grand, which I can't see lasting 40years or ever paying for itself.
