The R22 helicopter has a 160bhp engine, and is a lot heavier, so turn the mower upside down....

It's only got a small petrol tank though, you wouldn't get very far - maybe mow the hedge?

Not exactly impressive from 55 litre capacity, though I'd imagine the torque's fairly decent. Going to be an absolute bd to pull-start...

I wouldn't - the engine is not well reviewed on the manufacturer site (also it's only 3.4 HP).

I thought briggs and stratton were bulletproof. My current is a Mountfield B&S, engine is bulletproof it's the rest of the thing that's old and knackered.

B&S used to be bulletproof. Now known as "Briggs and Scrap 'em" due to cost cuts like plastic camshafts and the like - our local lawnmower fella doesn't often even bother fixing them, just bins the engine and bolts on a new one.

I thought that was the fuel tank, nitromethane only I suspect with an engine rebuild between every 1/4 mile of grass mowed.

And the occasional crash and resultant explosion as you stray off the straight 1/4 mile and hit the barrier.

An upside-down lawnmower would be a more comfortable and stylish way to travel than an R22.
