Best product for maintaining/protecting a cedar gazebo...?
Discussion
I have a cedar gazebo - one of the 12'x12' ones from CostCo.
It's great, but starting to age a little. The instructions say it should be treated with a "water-based water repellent sealant or stain".
I'm having difficulty identifying a suitable product for this. I don't want to stain the wood (colour is great) so I'm looking for a clear product. I can find plenty of oil-based versions, but no water-based products that are also water repellent.
Could one of PH's resident wood experts point me in the right direction please?
Thank you in advance.
