Can I repair this sink?

Hi all

We have a copper sink and see vanish was left in it overnight. It now looks like this

Other than replace it. Can we repair it? The house is up for sale at the moment so don't want to replace it.

Looks copper plated rather than solid copper ?

If it was solid, then yes, if plated then yes, but difficult. Maybe with some copper sulphate and a battery
