I have a roller garage door with key fob. It appears to have a somfy motor and a PDT Rollertec control unit. It behaves as it should to open the garage door (i.e. one press of button), however when I press the down button the door will stop in a few places and I have to press the button again each time. or just hold it down for the duration. I assume this means I need to reset the limits?

Anyone got any guidance on how to this? The instructions I have (which are part of the Rollertec installation booklet) don't seem to cover the type of motor I have. It has 2 hex bolt adjustments, a yellow and a green.

Does it have a sensor on the bottom slat that is there to stop the door closing if it touches something? When the batteries get weak in the bottom slat sensor, the door will randomly pause when closing but work fine when opening.
The batteries look like AA's but are 3 volts each, so a bit specialist. Google garage door 3 volt battery.

Yes it does have a sensor like that. Interesting, I hadn't realised those were on a separate power supply, will check that tonight.

Opened the sensor up, which is on the garage door as opposed to the frame (which looks to just have the magnets) and it has 4 x CR2032 batteries. Didn't have any spare so will grab some tomorrow and swap them out. Fingers crossed.

Replaced the batteries in the sensor today and now I need to hold the down button in the whole time for the door to lower. Perhaps something needs resetting? The somfy support website is terrible and a google search doesn't yield much help.

After viewing other videos about setting limits, I see now that isn't my issue as the door stops in a good position at the top and bottom so will leave the limit adjustment alone.
