So who’s got one? Or two?

I’m about to decide which ovens to get, I’m having two single oven stacked in a tower, so the top one needs to be a slide and hide thingy but looking through the neff ovens and it looks like a million options and all different codes on the description but without actually saying why one costs £700 and the other £1000

Who’s got what and do you rate them?

The top needs to be a compact,

The bottom a hide and slide if you wish.

Personally I would get a pyro self clean over the hide and slide

We have a couple, they were eye-wateringely expensive but we get a lot of good use from them. The pyrolitic cleaning is a must-have feature in my opinion, for the main oven at least. I have no criticism of either of them, or the inductive hob.

The microwave has broken after 7 years, that's a bit annoying as it cost £600+, engineer coming on Saturday - I'm expecting £200 to fix it.

Can’t you stack two singles?

Had a neff once. Never again. Kept reporting odd errors that required even more odd button press sequences to clear them that were very difficult to execute in the correct sequence and timing.

We have 2 singles stacked - The joiner used a howdens unit and altered it to suit. Both are the same model

Agree that pyro is needed. You can get a Neff over that does both slide and hide and pyro now. I had one fitted earlier this year.

Haven’t got a stacker but had a stand-alone Neff oven for 10 years and it irritated the hell out of me.

The fan was excessively noisy and ran on far too long after shutdown and all the timer buttons on the front melted when I left the door open for a few minutes with it on.

We’ve just had a kitchen refit and went for a Bosch integrated oven - cheaper, quieter and gets up to temp a lot quicker than the Neff. Wouldn’t rush back to Neff, it was style over substance in my experience.

I’m pretty sure Bosch and Neff are made by the same company now.

Put new Siemens oven and induction hob into kitchen (basically the same as Neff). Both failed just outside of warranty, Siemens not interested at all. Now have Miele, which we should have bought in the first place and not that much more expensive. The difference in quality is significant.

I have a Neff self clean with the slides door. Seemed to price at circa £800 on the usual websites. Bought mine at the same time as the kitchen from Benchmarx for approx half that price.

Yes.
One more than your IQ.

Anyway..... we have two stacked Siemens ovens both the same size.
Top one though, is a combi oven so is a microwave/ fan oven.
Very happy with both so far.

As said d above, make sure you go for pyro cleaning. Other than that the price differences will be about features that you may or may not want.

I’ve got two Neff ovens side by side (with warm drawer and make crowbar between) and they’re still going strong after three years.

Ive got an oven and a separate microwave grill/oven as well as an induction hob.

No complaints - although we've only had these fitted for a few weeks, we had neff oven and induction at our old house for 4 years with no problems!

We didnt bother with the pyro cleaning, but went for the other method of self cleaning which I think just does the bottom? AO.com gave us a good chunk of discount by calling up and asking!

I have 2 of the Neff B57CR23N0B which are both Slide & Hide and Pyro clean.

Haven't fitted them yet as I'm still making the kitchen! The B57CR23N0B is a Euronics special version of the Neff B57CR22N0B, and is almost the same but comes with the additional telescopic shelf supports.

Speak to your local Euronics dealer very nicely (I'm quite friendly with ours which helps) and you'll get them for £700ish each.

Can't believe the timing on this one. Ours was installed yesterday amidst much excitement.

For the guys with the slide and hide, is the oven much smaller than a normal one?
