We are planning a fairly simple gable extension (approx 4.6 wide x 8m long) and are in the final sketches stage prior to plans being created.
The current spec shows bi-fold doors (4 of) across the 4.6m width - the actual gap for the doors is approx 3.5m wide.
I have read quite a few threads on here about bi-folds and the love and hate for them as well as the varying quality.
A friend suggested 2 sliding doors rather than bi-fold which seems to be coming back in style however I see this mainly on very long walls where there is a lot of space, I'm a bit worried they would look like the old patio doors (in our extension) you would get and we only get half the opening when the door is open.
Any input appreciated particularly on suppliers!
Not sure why this is in the Car Buying section of the forum? The current spec shows bi-fold doors (4 of) across the 4.6m width - the actual gap for the doors is approx 3.5m wide.

Have reported the post and asked it to be moved to a more suitable section of the forum.

That's why we went for bi-folds. We didn't want to block half the opening with a static pane of glass, the penalty of frame thickness was one we were happy to put up with..Sunfold was our supplier and after 10 years I'd still buy them again.
