Identifying junk ?????

Hi Pistonheads, I am chucking out junk from building work and cannot work out what this little kit is. It was with a bit of lead so might be to do with roofing - possibly came with a roof vent??

What does everyone else do with this sort of stuff? Straight in the bin?!

Are the clips not for connecting 2 parts of a divan base ?

I don't think so - the tape smells bituminous or like vulcanising tape. In a box of stuff our builders left us.

Never! Might come in useful, them.
Clips in the tub of randomly shaped metal things, stickies in the glue drawer
