Any help appreciated! Plumbing is not my forte

It's the bottom of the 2 pipes, the one with a copper pipe connected to the isolating valve.

Thanks!

And this is the tap end. Do I just loosen the nut?

His amp is so powerful it's water-cooled.

Yes. There should be a rubber washer in the end of the flexible pipe which is what actually forms the seal.

On this one I think you unscrew the bigger nut which is part of the white push fit conector. The slimmer one is a fixed part of the flexible pipe which you might need to grip with a second spanner.

Unlikely that push fit wont come off without some proper toolage.

Just undo the chrome nut on top of the isolator and disconnect it that way.

You can then get to the pushfit easier.

Cheers all. The tap is now loose. Time for the difficult bit!

I've never had any joy with push fit.

Do you care which bit you disconnect? Any of those joints will come apart, but the easiest is probably getting a spanner on the tap connector.

The push fit is too big to spanner, my adjustable wrench only goes up to 30mm. And my 22mm spanner won't go on the nut on the isolator. Am trying the isolator with the adjustable wrench but it's tight down there and is also behind a bath.

And I'm sweating haha

If its that tight, it's probably the reason someone used a push fit as the whole lot can be assembled, and then the final connection onto the pipe tails under the bath, without the faff.

Anyone able to tell the OP how to release the pushfit?

I have a 30mm adjustable spanner onto the push fit nut. But don't have a spanner big enough to hold the smaller nut steady while I loosen it. This is fun!

What are you trying to undo exactly?

The tap connector from the top of the push fit?

The flexi pipe has split so I'm trying to replace it.

I've tried pulling the push fit off the copper pipe but the bugger isn't moving at the moment.

In theory I should be able to pull this up and then wiggle the pipe and I'm good

Sorry, when I said pull it's because I'm 'underneath' the connection and pulling (or trying) the clip in.
