I use a set of Le Cruset pans I've had for nearly 35 years, I've also got various cheaper ones that work fine too. I wouldn't get too hung up on the induction thing, find a quality brand you like that does an induction compatible range and go with that for your core pans.

+1. Unless you want branded fancy looking oner these will do a great job and last ages. Supplement with one or two specific size pans with heavy bottom and you are sorted...

Mrs gets some fandango non stick things from John Lewis. They actually work too. Watch pan weights though, always makes my teeth itch when I hear one banging on the glass.

We bought a set from Dunelm and they have been 100% perfectly fine for for the last year of using them on our induction hob.

We have used Berghoff pans since we got our induction 11+ years ago - https://berghoffworldwide.com/bgh_en_int/pots-pans... - they have lasted really well, the non-stick actually works and they still look 'almost' as good as new.

Recommend.

I just use a set of s/s pans I got in a sale at Homebase. £30 for two saucepans and a casserole dish, all with glass lids so I can see how the stuff is doing inside without taking the lid off. They work fine.

We have some Tefal Joliver efforts, and Tefal Ingenio frying pans, with the detachable handle.
If we had to replace them in the future, I’d certainly look at those in pIkea.

Have a look at Circulon. Reasonably priced and as used on Masterchef.

Another vote for the le creuset tri ply stainless steel pans. It’s what we have - we have 3 saucepans, 2 frying pans, a stock pot and a shallow casserole dish. All excellent and can be had much cheaper by shopping around a bit!

And another. A good balance between decent gear, well made and a sensible price.

We also have a pan that cost about 40p from Asda that works a treat for the simple stuff like boiling.

Forget le creuset, they’re twice the price they’re worth. Have a look at BergHOFF.
