Parking on Grass
Discussion
We have a grass area in our driveway that i'd like to use for parking. Would prefer to keep the grass area as is and use one of the parking grid/mesh type solutions. Anyone got experience with them?

I've specified the grid type but never the reinforcement mesh. The grid for parking seems ok - I've used it in a hospital project for staff parking so not constant vehicle movements, which would be similar to domestic vehicle movements. Used the heavy duty one for fire engine access too, but thankfully this hasn't seen much use!
I used some of the lighter duty version (as shown to the lower RHS on the OP's link above -looks like simple green plastic mesh) to reinforce/protect the grass from pedestrian use but can't say I'm impressed -it is very flexible and already sinking into the mud. I'd be dubious about vehicular use even on the heavier grade version. I do know someone who used the clip-together tiles though and they reckon it works.
