I have a large aluminium number plate from an e-type rear that I want to cut down to normal size. What would you suggest as the best tools to do this at home?

How thick is it? I'd probably be thinking aviation snips if it's thin enough (up to around 1-1.5mm).

I've got a hydraulic guillotine. Are you close to Wigan? I won't be in work after Tuesday next week though.

I'm not near Wigan and don't think I could use cutting my numberplate up as a reason for travel
