Putting hook into massive concrete/stone block help
Discussion
You know you see those massive blocks of stone and concrete in the entrance to fields to stop the gypsies getting in?
Well they usually have a hook in the top so they can be lifted into place.
What is the best way to do this? I am guessing drill a hole, insert the hook and then concrete it in, but does anyone have any better ideas?
Thanks!

Maybe Hilti adhesive? Used it a lot on site.
You would have to look into weight restrictions ect.

This sort of anchor fixing should do it. Use epoxy as well if you like.

However, I do have a Wizard of Oz flying barn scenario in my head. What is this really holding down?

This is the one, my mate smashed one of these on the pavement when he was an apprentice 25 years ago and it's still there!https://youtu.be/H2IobMMVel0
