I’m not sure if our post has become sporadic, or firms are sending less rubbish out right now, but I have noticed that our flapper is flapping much less right now.

Anyone else noticed this?

Yes, same here, we have only had 3 deliveries in the last two weeks, and two of those were junk mail, but at least no bills.

The other was from Nationwide telling us how low the new interest rates were going to be on our accounts.

More stuff than usual ordered, but postie only seems to wander by every two or three days here.

Stuck in NZ and my UK driving licence has expired, new one at my home address in UK but daughter cannot send to me as Royal Mail say that they will not accept any letters that are bound for NZ until further notice, crap notice says that it's because there arn't any flights to carry the mail but that's bo**ox as there is no problem for mail from Ireland that's arriving here as normal and cargo flights are still operating although busier than usual. I suspect Royal Mail don't want to fork out the increased cargo rates.

My flapper dropped off, and a pair of blue tits moved in before I got round to fixing it, so my post box is currently out of commission.

But yes, there's been a noticeable and refreshing reduction in the amount of junk mail, recently.
