I ordered an oven back in early May. I won't name the online company as i dont know what PH's policy is regarding naming and shaming absolute ste companies that a re a nightmare to deal with.

Anyway, it turned up a few days later only to discover the stainless fascia/control panel was damaged.

What followed was days and days of phone calls, being put on hold, vague feedback and just all out frustration.

They arranged a collection of the damaged oven. It took them three attempts but they got there in the end and had agreed that as soon as the oven was collected they would send out the replacement. Surprisingly they honoured this promise and a day later the replacement oven arrived in one piece and the new kitchen was completed.

That was 3 months ago and I've been in an oven baked bliss since.

However, today the damaged oven i sent back 3 months ago returned to my house! Apparently the courier company couldn't finalise the delivery for whatever reason and returned it to the sender.....me!

So i now have a surplus oven.

A short online search for this company brings up thousands of disgruntled customers. Many never having their damaged goods replaced or refunded and quite frankly getting ripped off.

I really cant be arsed to have to go through the hassle of having to deal with this company again but at the same time i don't have the room in the house to store a spare oven.

What are the options? What would you do? How much effort do i need to shown that i have made before deciding fk it the oven is being donated to a good home?

I'm surprised you accepted it back. It was the courier's problem and now it's yours once again. hehe

I wouldnt of accepted it back.
I would give the company one last chance to pick it up. Let them know they have x days to collect it or you will stick it on Ebay or phone your local scrappy to weigh it in.

A mate had similar problem with an oak bed frame, think it was around 500 quid. It had a very small mark on it when it was delivered. Phoned them up. Several days later a guy turned up with another one. Assembled it, and headed for the door. "What about the damaged one?" Said he was only told to deliver and assemble the new one.

I had it for free. That was well over ten years ago.

My dad got a huge cracker of a lawnmower, £600 in March. Straight out the box the starter was broke. So theyve sent him a new mower within weeks. 3 months later still nothing about the broken one that works if you clamp the connectors together. Guess who's getting the new/broke sort of mower soon wooo lol fingers crossed.

I had an entire kitchen delivered by B&Q after complaining about a missing plinth.

They never collected it even after numerous phone calls.
