I put a few leather items in my cellar.... hang on, that sounds so wrong!

A shotgun case, cartridge bags etc. They've gone mouldy with the damp down there - not ruined and the sort of furry stuff that brushes off.

I will store them somewhere else in future - but what's the best treatment for this type of thick leather (think saddle quality leather)? I don't want to change the colour at all, simply polish these things up a bit.

Not a subject I know anything about.

Thanks....

Not sure it’s a subject your average reader of the Home Cinema & HiFi forum would know anything about either wink

You can get mould killer spray for leather, I'd just clean it off with that and then a dose of hide food.

Depending who you ask:

Saddle soap, dubbin, nikwax... or a multitude of overpriced specialist products
