Loaf sofas, any experience (or other recommendations)?
Discussion
Looking for a couple of 'love seats', big oversized armchairs that a couple can squeeze into. I've come across these which look good, but of course how they look and how they feel are two different things.

Anyone got any experience of this brand? Or any other suggestions?

Style over substance - having been to the store and tried them - but I didn't buy one so happy to be overruled by those that live with them.
Did buy a bed though. Well, paid for it, waited for 6 months, and they delivered two sets of slats instead. Ordered in store so certainly no error on our behalf, and they confirmed the order. To say they couldn't give a sh*t about that mistake is an understatement.
Pretty adverts on the tube but I'm giving them a wide berth.
Edit: rate our sofa from here and we'll be buying more too https://camerich.co.uk/. Way higher quality and more comfortable than Loaf. Appreciate you may be looking for a different style though.

If you are prepared to transpose two letters I can recommend one of these - we've had two for over 30 years and they are as good as the day we bought them (been recovered at least 4 times) - handmade in Northumberland:

We ended up going to a local sofa shop who made a sofa to our exact fabric, size and even customised their design to suit us. Pricing was competitive with Loaf and the quality is excellent, and made locally. We're based in Bristol, but I imagine you could find a local business with decent reviews in many parts of the country.

When we last had our Delcor sofas re covered, which are feather filled, they inserted a slice of foam in the middle of the feathers and this stops the cushions from collapasing - it used to be a pain 'plumping' the cushions at the end of each day
I know the feeling. So is it just feather fillings that compress and need plumping up?Another example is the seat fillings in brand new caravan, the foam is so cheap that it compresses and doesn't return to its normal shape. So when we look for our next sofa, what fillings are best?

Our Loaf sofa has the same set up. Annoyingly the foam insert has moved so there's a big lump in the middle of the cushion. I'll have to call them and see if they can sort it out for us, we've got the five year accidental damage cover policy so we're hoping they'll cover it on that.number2 said:

I'm currently weighing up whether to buy a Camerich or Muuto In Situ.gallopingclothespeg said:

Exactly the same issue with our year old kitchen Loaf sofa. They sent someone out last week and are replacing the cushionWe have a Loaf sofa. The cushions you sit on feel like they don’t have enough foam in them and so haven’t been very comfortable since day one. Loaf did send someone out to look at them but predictably they said they were normal. So we won’t be buying another one from Loaf and wouldn’t recommend them for the money.
