Trying to check planning permission on mine. Our duty planning officer retired and hasn’t been replaced. I want to build it near a shared boundary wall. Would not overhang wall by any means or be higher than the wall. Council says it has to be 1m away from a shared wall. Want to place it 30cm away. Found a really nice one so hopefully order it soon.

One my dad built for me. Can’t remember the dimensions off the top of my head..

Think it’s 2.4 deep and 3.2 long. Plan is to convert it to a small pub, maybe stick a wee log burner in one of the corners.

Here’s mine on the evening I finished building it

It’s a bit messy inside now

Been looking for some cheap kitchen cabinets to replace the temporary (3 years) ones I made out of mdf.

Wickes do some very cheap ones, matt white, they're cheap already but they're often on sale. The drawer units are st though.

They are cheaper at Travis Perkins - same cabinets, just cheaper

Was due to start a build this week on a 4.8x3m week shed/workshop but the weather and broken cars has halted proceedings. Im on a few facebook groups which are pretty good.

I'm looking to buy my first ever garden shed

I was considering a plastic one with how low maintenance they are

like this one:

https://www.waltons.co.uk/palram-8x6-midnight-grey...

But some reviews mentioning how flimsy they are and easy to break into are putting me off, especially as I want to keep a mower and welder in there

Any recommendations for a 8x6 shed with a rough budget of £500?
