A doorbell but not a doorbell...

I need to get hold of a doorbell type thing, that chimes just when someone comes through the door.
Basically a modern version of the old shop bells that used to be attached to the door on a spring.
Why can't I find a cheap and simple example of this? Is there a specific name for them that I don't know?

When someone opens the gate it chimes the bell
That, or if you have a burglar alarm you can probably program it to do it.
We have a simple Yale alarm and it chimes when external doors open (i have bad hearing so this is a nice feature)

PIR detector should do the trick, might be a better option as its not dependant on door being opened or closed

I have two sight hounds (Saluki / Greyhound crosses) . They spot anything within a mile and go nuts. Love em to bits but they can be total tossers.

PIR ones won't work, it's very specifically a chime/beep/toot when the door is opened that I need.
Genuinely might just get one of the actual shopkeeper brass bells for old school charm...

I have one of these door sensor chimes. The receiver/speaker plus into a wall socket and the sensors stick onto the door and frame. Has 50+ chime sounds to choose from, though most of them are crap, but there are 4 or 5 standard 'ding-dong' type chimes to choose from, and different volume levels.
