Decent Shed\Fence paint?
Discussion
I'm after some paint for the exterior of a large shed, probably 150-200sqm or so to cover. What I'm after is,
-oil\solvent base, not water base.
-longevity. The existing paint has lasted almost 20 years
-opaque without umpteen coats
-if it's got any fungicidal properties to stop things going green, ideal.
-reasonable cost for an industrial-size container.
Google is filled with DIY-shed waterbased junk that won't last. Any suggestions?

I would be looking at Sadolin Superdec, Jotun Demidekk (I am about to try this on my garden room over the oil primer) or the Valtti Opaque (over the Valtti oil primer).
I think they are all water-based though - the Jotun and Tikkurila are both Scandinavian. Very long-lasting by all accounts - think painted log cabins in the snow

.I'm currently painting some external timber with the the Saddolin Super Dec mentioned above.
Seems very well regarded - covers well and nice to apply but is outrageously expensive at nearly £20 a litre so hopefully it lasts a long time! Really didn't enjoy spending almost 250 quid on 3 tins of paint!
Some of these might be more reasonable for the area you need to cover.

Goes against a couple of your requirements... Demidekk.
Was going to post the exact same, despite been water based. Our 12 pane sash windows are as good now as when they were painted 8 years ago.
Not cheap but am quite happy to spend £150 for paint that does my drive gates, if I don't have to do them for at least 10 years.

I think I paid £69 for 5 litres tinted - check out Paint Shed.
When I built my log cabin it had to be coated with one of the below products to maintain its guarantee, so I assume they're good. They're certainly pricy, I went with the Timmersol which is the cheapest, 10L did a couple of coats, inside and out of a 3x4m cabin.
Sikkens Cetol HLS Plus - 85 5l
• Restol Wood Oil - 120 5l
• Timmersol ETS Double Protectant - 50 5l
• Osmo Country Colour 70 2.5l
• Osmo Natural Oil Woodstain

Sadolin superdec opaque.
Yes is water based but it’s fantastically durable and water repellant. Not cheap but I would highly recommend it
Good mate builds high-end garden buildings for rich people and he only uses Sadolin Superdec. However, it does need re-doing regularly (every few years) since it keeps its performance by eroding over time. When we bought a building from him we painted it ourselves with Superdec and it's lovely stuff to use. Goes on smoothly, dries quickly, still looks perfect two years later. But I don't think it meets the brief the OP outlined.

Ahhh the smell of my childhood garden on a summers day!
And I'll bet whatever you covered it in is probably still there now
The old man would whistle whiled he worked, happily muttering to nobody in particular that the fence would outlive the house

It was a different world back then.
