How bendy is an Emma mattress?

Sorry for the weird thread.

I need to travel 200+ miles to collect two new Emma mattresses at a massive discount.

I can either take the small van and try and cram them in, at which point my Wife can share with the driving, or take the HUUUUGE van, (3.5t), which my Wife can’t get insured on.

So how bendy / flexible is an Emma mattress? Can you almost bend one through 90 degrees, and if you do, can you risk damaging one?

Do they not come rolled and vacuum packed? Most memory foam mattresses do.

From memory, ours came rolled up. Probably a sharp crease isn't a great idea, but rolling should be ok.

Thank you both Little van it is then, (Renault Kangoo), which will also halve my fuel costs compared to the Sprinter.

It comes in a box. Roll it up and tie it shut with a few bits of rope.
Its just foam. Theres no springs to crush.

Yep, just roll it into a giant Swiss Roll & run a couple of straps round it.

OP: do you know that a lot of the bigger charity shops have these type of mattresses for sale? It's where they often go when people send them back after the 100 night trial. I know the British Heart Foundation collect them because they took mine.

I could wedge an old school double mattress in the back of a 406 estate

Should fit into a van with persuasion

If it’s still vacuum packed they come rolled up. About 1.5metres high and 50-60cm dimensions.

If they have been unpacked then they don’t bend very well.

If this is from iBidder or John Pye I guarantee it's been unpacked and the photos are stock ones ... The various auction houses have them lying all over the place when I go collect other stuff.
