What a revelation!!

Just bought one because they were on special offer at Costco and really impressed with it. Used it on windows, gloss kitchen doors and granite worktops and it’s left an impressive finish.

my wife got me one and i pretended to like it.. the truth is my unger ninja does a better job with no great increase in effort.

My issue was that it usually looks fine at the time, but within a few days the stripes start to show. It's not just stripes at the edges, but within the swept area. The other is because of the bulk of the handle/reservoir area, you can't get the bottom inch or two of lots of my windows because of the window sill. It's good for a quick clean before people come over or to remove the dirty toddler handprints daily from the patio doors, but mine mostly lives at the back of the cupboard now.

There's lots of reports of them dying after a while due to water ingress into the motor section.

I have had one since they first came out and it’s still going strong. Use on my car windows and pano roof as well as the house windows and orangery roof.

That doesn't surprise me, unless you keep it upright the water gets into the motor and it just splutters dirty water everywhere so you cant use them horizontally or to get into corners. The rubbers do seem to leave lines as well, and I do clean them before each use but you still get lines.

Why would you buy something that's pretty obvious what it does, and then never see the benefit?

We have one we use on our windows in the bedroom in the winter - we get about half a cupful most mornings.
We live in a 60's tower block. <sadface.gif>

handy during the winter to clear car windows, pour over some warm water, use the karcher to suck up the water off the window so there's nothing left to freeze back up again.

i used mine to get the bulk of the water off my car after washing it - then buff with a microfibre.

If you've just used the shower it's floor is wet. I don't understand how sucking the displaced water from the shower screen into a reservoir as it's squeegeed is any better than squeegeeing it onto the shower floor with a cheap/reliable conventional squeegee where it will drain into the shower drain.

Had one for ages, use it occasionally but think little of it. Leaves streaks, leaks, can't reach certain parts of the windows.

As above, seems to work well but then the sun comes out and the window looks as if it’s been cleaned with a rake. 3/10.

OK for cleaning shower screens, but very poor quality/reliability and Karcher are a PITA on warranty matters.

So true. My Karcher pressure washer died after a few hours use (but outside warranty). It needs a new pump/cylinder head which is £75!

Karcher is expensive crap.
