Green Network Energy to EDF transfer

Since GNE went bust in Feb I have been automatically transferred to EDF.
I can access my account around April, but the issue is I have never had a single bill yet.

I managed to get through customer service through What's app to sort my billing cycle (it was quarterly but changed to monthly) and have been told that I should be billed soon.

I submit my electricity reading via app, but I cannot submit gas readings as the meter won't turn on (long beep). I have also approached customer service and they basically said my bill will be estimated and engineer would be sent once available, but expect a wait due to covid restrictions.

I am very concerned that I would be hit with one massive bill that I have to pay immediately.
Anyone else here that was on GNE and got transferred to EDF?

I’m in exactly the same boat, although EDF have still been taking our monthly DD that we set up with GNE (around £90pm).
Still waiting to hear anything from EDF.

Their customer service is quite good, so if you've not heard anything give them a ring. I know there was a small number of customers they were struggling to move over for some reason.

The good news is that you're on some stupidly cheap tariff that you won't find better elsewhere, so best idea is just to sit quietly and wait for it all to happen.
