I have an orange Supergas butane bottle with a 20mm outlet. My 20mm regulator fits over the top but does not go down enough to activate the release pin to allow the gas to escape and the regulator does not lock into place because it is not deep enough. Supergas not available in this country anymore I believe flogas took over but trying to get hold of them is like trying to find a hooker at a monk's convention. So, can anyone suggest where I can get a longer or deeper 20mm regulator for this bottle which is FULL. I have tried that usual places Amazon eBay and local calor gas suppliers. Annoying.

The top part of the bit that the regulator normally goes on is much much deeper than a normal one that the red regulator goes on.

Hi there, I have the same issue a you... A full 13kg Supergas bottle but unable to find a 20mm regulator that fits it!
I'm just wondering if you've had and success yet in finding one?
Guy.

Hello Folks!
Had anybody have any luck finding the regulator for Supergas cylinder?
I've got a gull bottle but can't find any trace of the matching regulator.
I've even tried to search on Portuguese websites with no succes.
Would be grateful for any help.

Perhaps one of the businesses touting adaptors for refilling cylinders might be able to help?

try BOC, either online or at one of their "gas and gear" depots

Sorry I'm late to the party, but I'm not a regular here.

I, too have a Supergas 13kg bottle which is about 35 years old and full. Supergas was an independent, taken over by Flogas, who then changed the cylinder and valve type to their own. Hence, there are no longer any modern regulators to fit these.

I got lucky and found an old Supergas regulator on evil-bay. So you could try there or equivalent sales sites. What you're looking for is a large round orange coloured regulator with a blue label on top and an off-centre outlet.

Alternatively, Flogas will take the bottle off you in exchange for a new one of theirs, but will treat is as empty and charge you for the full one.

Happy hunting!
