I need around 100cm x 45cm to repair a water damaged anssems trailer to then allow me to sell it

Has anyone got any bright ideas where I can pick some up without spending a fortune, but don’t want to bodge it and next owner have to repeat the process in a couple of years time.

I often think outside of the box and find it cheaper to buy something second hand and take it apart to salvage material, something like the platform of a scaffold tower for example

Any tips or tricks on where to pick some up

Not heard or srbf, so thanks for the heads up. If I was keeping the trailer or selling to a friend I’d replace the whole lot, but I’m just going to cut out the bad and replace with good

A quick look on Facebook Marketplace & Ebay for Buffalo Board shows places all around the country with new and used pieces smaller than a full sheet. Where are you? Several sellers on Ebay offer free delivery.

See if a local repair place has offcuts? I didn't take the spare with me when I replaced the base of my trailer so they kept it. No idea where you are but I used Wessex trailers to supply/cut the board I bought.

Just googled Buffalo Board Does it need to have a nice fancy skin?

Could you not just use Marine Ply with an appropriate stain?

SRBF BTW is Silicon Resin Bonded Fibre, Very Very hard waring and durable material, comes in various thicknesses. It ain't cheap, but then again Buffalo Board isn't either.

Ideally I want it to look factory ish, ie not a bodge. I will be asking top money so want to do it right

The srbf looks interesting, I never knew it existed so will keep it on my radar for future repairs etc
