IKEA Integrated dishwasher sliding door hinge - Help Ple !!!
Discussion
So I bought an IKEA kitchen 3 years ago and finally got around to installing it recently myself. Covid and some health issues kind of got in the way..
Everything was going surprisingly well until the last bit...I fitted an IKEA branded dishwasher. For those familiar with the IKEA range, it's a combo of the Voxstrop drawer fronts and the skinande dishwasher (made by Electrolux).
The dishwasher install is easy enough, but my specific issue is attaching the door front. It turns out it is requires a sliding hinge attachment as the doors are kinda long. I was told by the IKEA kitchen team to attach a bracket to the back of the door , and slot it on the dishwasher. That is the part I purchased 3 years ago. Long story short...I'm missing a set of hinges that are crucial to attach the bracket to the dishwasher.i have spent 2 days solid googling and youtubing this to death in my 2 days of work this week. Ive been tying to work out what the issue was and finally solved it when I found an Australian YouTube clip on how to install an IKEA metod kitchen. From that I could see they show this hinge mechanicsm. I could not find where to get these hinges from...IKEA website had no such product. I did find a company called Adapt-R that has produced a similar solution for non IKEA Dishwashers fitted to IKEA Door fronts but I am reluctant to go down that route yet as it is rather expensive.
My last resort was to visit my local IKEA and the useless staff had zero idea what part I was talking about...despite pointing it out to them on the display kitchens. Admittedly you can't see actual part as it is hidden on the units on display as it is concerned behind finished doors. But you would think they get the idea. They gave up and told me to try IKEA customer services ..who told me to call Electrolux customer support because they belive the missing hinges should have come with the dishwasher and not with the IKEA Bracket.. I was on hold for 1 hour before they told me they don't support after 1 month of purchase and they also don't know what part I'm talking about!
The upshot is I have zero idea where to get this part from. Going in circles. The part is called Resonlig. I've attached an image.i am pretty sure it should come as part of a bracket set as it has an IKEA Reference number 502.483.48
Does anyone have any experience of this specific problem and if so...where did the hinge set come from?

Please help Pistonheads...my wife suggested I try Mumsnet...please please don't let me go there, I'd rather leave the door off
Many thanks

Do they still sell the dishwasher?
If you were of a certain mindset, you could always buy one, take those hinge bits out, and return it. If you were of that mindset, that is. Some people are. Some people think that if a retailer sells you something incomplete then simply refuse to help, then f
k em. People can be like that.
Not saying you are, of course. You're probably the sort of bloke that will get the part number for the dishwasher, find a parts diagram online then order the missing parts giving the unhelpful numpty on the end of the phone the specific part number information that they should be giving you but can't. Hell, you're probably the sort of guy that would google it, find somewhere like this spare parts website that has different looking bits that claim to be a door fitting kit for a skinnade, put your part umber in and / or call them and expect they might help you because they can sell you something. You're probably that guy. =)

Thanks for the advice...I guess I currently fall under your exact description of the second sort of guy...but by the end of this thread I suspect I may morph into the former. Its this scenario that turns decent people into guy1.
Before I do that though, surely someone on here has fitted such a hinge. If not...I'll be back to IKEA to buy another dishwasher. They do still sell it, albeit by a different name (Lagan)

They don't publicise it that well but you can order spare parts here:
https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/customer-service/spare-...
And they are often free.

LOL OP.
I'm also an Ikea victim, but for me it was the oven door (made of glass). Wife accidentally shattered it (toughened so when she knocked the edge with a hot casserole boom goodbye door). It was like getting blood out of a stone, I eventually worked out the part number of the glass / the part number of the door assembly and then when I spoke to them they confirmed that it wasn't available, had never been available, and the oven is discontinued. Their option was for mt o buy a new matching set of appliances.
I ended up buying an oven off ebay, taking the door off and refitting it to mine in situ. Easier than dismantling half he bloody kitchen to get the old one out! I'd say the overall experience was right up there with BT broadband in "I think I'm talking to a simpleton" frustration...
ETA - Manual https://manualzz.com/doc/50266413/ikea-skinande-30...
In that manual, it implies the images from the link I posted are the fitting kit for a Skinande. Page 17 specifically mentions Voxstorp.
Meanwhile, this manual https://www.ikea.com/at/de/assembly_instructions/r... implies that the parts you've found and the video you've watched are from a different dishwasher, called Resonlig.
