Built in wardrobes - Sharps?
Discussion

We do supply only fitted wardrobes. www.online-bedrooms.co.uk
Our wardrobes are full cabinets (with 18mm back panels too) with a range of internal options.
Slab style doors only in matt and gloss. Currently not offering a traditional/shaker style door but will be introducing in the next few months.
Give me a shout if we can help

To be honest, you'd be better off finding a local joiner and getting them to give you a quote - you may be pleasantly surprised. It'll be more competitive than the likes of Sharps etc.

I,m looking for the same and the misses says sharp but I know they are expensive. We have a small room with the roof angled in on two sides so I need something custom built but I want it basic inside. Finding someone local has been a challenge so far.

We recently had two wardrobes fitted in separate rooms. Large room we went with sharps, smaller room (and smaller wardrobe) we went with local fitter (colleague at other halfs work).
We got sharps to quote for smaller room but local fitters price unpainted was a few hundred cheaper (painted was marginally more than sharps).
Maybe we got a v good discount from sharps but I would defn use them again over local fitter (well, the one we used, who certainly does not seem short of work).
Sharps experience was painless; no hard sell, knew exactly what were getting, all fitted in under a day. No mess, no follow up work for me. Finished product very happy with.
The local fitter effort by comparison feels and looks a bit cheaper. Plus as you might guess.. i am yet to finish painting it, some 3 months on (just one last coat.. i have my excuses!)
I should add we went with a v simple layout for the wardrobes; if we'd added a load of extras like draws and lots of shelves / accessories all over the place, am sure cost would have ramped up quickly.

We used Sharps. The process was painless and they offered 0% interest free credit. No pressure and quality job was done. The actual fit was timetables for 2 days, but the fitter they contracted it out too smashed it in a long day, I guess he knew he could squeeze another job in of his own on the 'second' day.
We did get a joiner to quote, but he wanted a similar amount of money to Sharps to leave it unpainted in MDF. The eventual finish would never have been as clean and crisp as Sharps. And we wanted full width mirrored doors, which the joiner couldn't or didn't want to source.

Thanks. Wouldn’t want slab doors unfortunately. Your new styles sound interesting, depending on when they are introduced.
No problem, Appreciate the response.I would expect it to be a month or 2 before we have them available for quote and sale. If you are within that timeframe then please do give me a shout but completely understand if you want to get things underway

just what i have been looking for, will be in touch
Great to hear! We are running a little behind on quoting at the moment so its taking a little bit longer than we would like to get back to everyone who enquires through our website. If you call us then you can be put in touch directly with a designer if you are in a hurry. stabbed rat said:

No rush, new build ( Flat / Apartment) above garage, just at 1st fix, plastering 2nd week in may. Will be In touch
We used Sharps about 7 years ago. No complaints about the quality, but it was a hard sell. Guy came to us one evening to design and quote, I don't know how many manager's dinners he interrupted but it took a few attempts to reach a more palatable price, think it started around £7k and ended up about £2k IIRC.
