Struggling with limescale in my kitchen, namely around my kitchen tap and sink so was just wondering if anyone has tried one of these Eddy Electronic water descalers and if they really do work?

I suggest you'd be better off putting your £140 towards a water softener, like this one,

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Water-Softeners-Harveys-E...

No electrical connection needed. Will clean up your bathroom(s) as well as the kitchen while extending the life of your dishwasher, washing machine etc. You'll even have streak-free windows and a streak-free car when you wash them!

thanks should have mentioned zero space or cabinets in my kitchen for a water softener, my kitchens the size of a cupboard for a hobbit.

The eddy also does the main source of the limescale kitchen issue ie the drinking tap and can fit directly on the pipes taking up no space, so am tempted to try it.

I think these are considered 'snake oil' aren't they for effectiveness? plus the main drinking tap in the kitchen is usually the one tap you do not want to be softened as drinking water is best left hard for health reasons. (more minerals, less chance of contamination etc)

Possible its snake oil, that is why I posted just in case.

The reviews sound positive but yeah easily set up for punters to take the fall wondered if anyone has ever tried it.

Yeah exactly why for myself at least the water softners are pointless, most of the lime scale is formed around the kitchen tap and kitchen sink and surrounding area.

There are also those magnets which claim to stop limescale from forming, just like the eddy machine done.

I may just have to buy the eddy machine, it does have a 12 month return if not satisfied option so guess got nothing to lose.

Checking a few YT reviews out appears not fully the best but some owners do claim its made the limescale like a soft powder so its easy to wipe away while previously it would be tougher and it does make a good difference with glasses.
