I'll go first, Firebelly FB2 fitted into a late victorian cast iron surround. We had a few large sycamores chopped down a couple of years ago so got years worth of good wood to keep the lounge cosy.

Bit of a different style to yours, a Termatech TT21R. Had it a couple of weeks, so far it seems to have replaced the central heating 95% of the time!

Our new log burner in existing Victorian chimney.
It’s getting a lot of use!

Did Geurts Ivar 5. Working well but wished I’d bought British, can’t understand what I was thinking.

I'm considering the same burner to replace a much older and more traditional burner in a new (to us) property.
How have you found it in terms of functionality, any downsides to the large capacity?

Chili Penguin Woody Multifuel fitted 2 years ago, replacing a ratty old gas fire. They also removed the knackered plaster and repointed the brickwork.

Whatever it is - and I thank you for pointing it out, as I didn't know - it really gets and stays very hot.

Stockton 5 wide in the old part of the house, fired up today so hence the pic.

Will take a pic later if I remember of the other one which is a Jotul F163 in white and hence a modern looking one.

No signing off(non uk). The rat is fire proof.
Only an ocassional fire in this one about 10 times a year.
