Electric being tapped

Hello new father here and asking for advice on electric as I think and can't prove that the electric is being taken. I've turned off the electric box for the lights and that seems to keep the usage down. How do I find out if they have gone through the floor boards and cut their crafty wires that they have put onto our lighting. Goes from 25p to 91p but the electric company won't do anything as they enjoy the extra cash coming in. I can wire a moterbike so I'm sure I can catch them at their game and cut the wires without burning the house down

I think you might need to take a deep breath and re-write your post so that it both makes sense, and accurately describes a few more pertinent details, such as who do you think is stealing your electricity supply, why do you think that (other than you turning your lights off?) it’s happening, and what do you think someone would be leeching for?

To be fair it's more like Dadsnet than motoring forum, probably more non car related threads than car focused ones.
