Intellipost Wireless Bollard - User Experience?
Discussion
I think they are a relatively new company, just looked on their website and I noticed the first car pic as you scroll down is the the Cotswold home of Tom of TGE Youtube channel, he has promoted this product a number of times on his channel and I think he is an investor in the product.
From watching his Youtube videos it seems a pretty decent bit of kit albeit quite high priced in the market, i've been looking briefly at bolards for my own drive but the ones I have looked at are manual operation, I guess you pay a lot for the convenience of the app operation

That's very helpful - thank you. I don't follow TGE, so didn't recognise that that was his home. As you say expensive, but the avoidance of having to dig up my driveway to run the cables does have an appeal. I've had one installed for about a year now. Great idea but the reality is that its a development product that you are paying full price for.
Have had to have them come over to do updates to the hardware on a few occasions including being sent a new charger because apparently they discovered that the old one was a fire hazard?!?! Also its a nightmare to get hold of anyone in the team and then a nightmare to get an appointment for one of their technicians to fix any issues with the bollard.
In hindsight I should have just paid extra for the more traditional wired solution. Nice enough chaps but poor customer experience to date if i'm being totally honest. Will let you know how I get on and happy to honestly correct the above if things improve.

That’s incredibly helpful, so thanks for taking the time to reply. I delayed pulling the trigger last year as I was worried that I would become a beta tester for the product and your message confirms that. It’s a great concept though as I hate the thought and cost of having to rip up the drive to install one of the alternatives.
