Looking to get a couple of good led inspection lights, for underbody and engine bay work. Cordless would be ideal.

Any recommendations?

What battery tools do you already have? (And if you don't, what's your favourite colour? biggrin )

I had a £140 headtorch that eventually died.

I replaced it with this £11 quid one and am very than happy with it:

I find headtorches invaluable for working on cars - the light is aimed exactly where you are looking and both your hands remain free.

Agree on the headtorch front, although you sometimes need light to the side because the headtorch lights up what's close to you too well and it's hard to see behind. (IYSWIM?)

& orange?? wink

I bought a small magnetic no-make worklight in a garage ages ago which is surprisingly good for something so cheap.

These are great, I have several. Runs on AA too so you don't have to worry about it not being charged when you need it (as long as you have a stash of AAs of course!)
