We have one of these heated mirrors installed in our en suite (an older model as its single colour only) which turns on (light and heat together) by waving hand across a sensor:

It no longer turns on (no light around edge and it does not heat up / demist). I could only find fitting instructions on the HIB website. I cant find any external backup physical on/off button. I had it off the wall briefly and could not see anything obvious. Wondering if anyone familiar with these types of mirror and if there an easy way to test if just the sensor has stopped working or its something more like the power supply? I also have no idea where this got wired to - certainly not aware of an isolation plug anywhere. The shower in the en suite is wired up to a pump in the loft. Just trying to cover the basics before I get someone out to take a look.

Hi, did you ever figure this out?, my HIB cabinet has just started having an issue with not heating 1 of the mirror panels.

We've a HIB cabinet, with one of each of the door hinges there's a little ribbon cable, I wonder if yours has damaged one of them, took a while to figure out how the lights in the doors were powered, and to be honest I hadn't realised the heating part of the setup until I'd looked on their website.

Ours spent a week randomly turning on when no one was there and after that refused to work. I got a new sensor switch and fitted it and it has been fine for about a year now I should think.
