Don’t suppose you can remember which automation system you had? Most of the ones I’ve found can’t handle a door that wide.

It was Rundem Meirs own system , there were two possible systems IIRC one where the motor moved around with the doors on a long power lead and the other the motor was fixed and drove a belt system that moved the doors (I went for the belt system) ... The Doors themselves were "Superior Spruce" which was the cheapest wood ... you can spend a fortune if you wish ... The lads who fitted mine had just done jobs at Kensington and The Dubai Island Don’t suppose you can remember which automation system you had? I'm sure you wouldn't get an up&over or roller for the length of a triple , well I didn't fancy the idea. I definitely didn't want a central pillar, so not sure of the alternative . Laying the lower guide tracks in the concrete and high load carry ones was fun , especially lining them up As I say though, cool!
.If you speak to Danesh I'm sure sure he'll remember me . Telling ALEXA to open both garage doors is a "Party Trick"
No photos, but if you want to stick just a bog standard up and over, you can get ones that come with thier own frame, so very easy to fit. It took 2 of us a couple of hours to put mine in about 15 years ago and it's still fine.

My parents have had a Rundum Meier side opening door since they built the house over 20 years ago. It's given no problems at all, though was serviced for the first time last year. It has aluminium slats with the door mounted motor and seems to run a bit faster than the one above, although not quite as wide. It also defeated an attempted break in a few years ago.

Never used them or heard of them before but they had a cedar door in their clearance section at what seemed an extremely good price.
When I called them to enquire before the bank holiday they couldn't be more helpful and the chaps who dropped it off on Monday were also excellent. Been speaking to them by email re the opener and boom and they've been replying to emails quickly and positively.
From my experience of their business I'd certainly have no qualms suggesting having a look at their site to see if they have what you need.
The door itself is a metal frame up and over so if/when the wood rots it's just a DIY job to replace the wood.

We had 2 x Hormann door fitted around 3 years ago and paid around £3k. They are the insulated sectional doors with an Oak woodgrain finish.
The price included Sommer electric motors and and box that integrates with our home network.
As above the control boxes just plug into a 13amp socket as do the Hormann version.
We never use the remotes that came with the units, we just use our phones, Siri or Google. I do like the facility to ask Siri to open whichever door I want as I drive up our road.
Our garage is integral to the house so when my daughter forgot her keys once I opened a garage door to let her in when I was 2 hours away from home.
