I have a few hardwood external doors, wooden frame with single pain of double glazed glass. This design:

I've missed the 'window' this year to fit these to the back of the house and they're currently resting on their side, as upright as possible in the hall.

Ideally, I'd like to move them to the new garage for winter storage to get them out the way. The garage is dry but obviously not heated and ideally I'd like to store the doors completely vertical and strapped in position.

I guess the question is whether I'm setting myself up for warping?

I’d say there is less chance of warping in the garage than when they are fitted tbh, the doors will be in a cold but stable enviroment, as opposed to when it’s fitted, one side will be bathing in the toasty warmth of your centrally heated house, the other potentially freezing it’s nuts off in sub- zero weather. If the doors/frame aren’t factory finished, a coat of your chosen finish won’t hurt, helping to slow uptake of moisture.

That would be my thinking also. And that the core risk would come from the doors not being upright and potentially developing a curve due to the lean?

Yes, don’t lean them against the wall at 45°laugh Lean them tight against your garage wall and use bungees/rope to hold them back, perfectly upright?
