Sweet Home 3D or another 3D package

I see that this software package is on HotUKDeals and was thinking it would be useful to have a 3D desktop package.

Is this worth investing my time into or are there other low cost 3D house related drafting packages which I should be looking at?

I used SketchUp some years ago.

Hotdeals? It's a free bit of software, has been for years.

It's not CAD as such but pretty user friendly. I managed to plan / design all of my re-modelling with it.

Apologies - I should have been clearer - it's the Android App which is on HUKD which got me looking at the free desktop version but the version with added bits n pieces is about £12.50 which is close enough to free.

I appreciate it's not CAD as such but a paster type package but any package will have a bit of a learning curve so rather than investing time in that, wondered whether to go straight to something else.
