Our main shower recently stopped giving hot water, have temporarily replaced the mixer bar with an old spare my dad had but was hoping it would be an economical fix to just replace the thermostatic cartridge in the failed bar, but I'm having trouble identifying what model it is.

The mixer bar is an Aqualisa, unknown model, installed by Taylor Wimpey in 2020 when they built the house - the only markings on it are '50320 704545'. I've been unable to find a replacement online that looks identical to this:

Any plumbing experts able to identify this for me please?

If something breaks after only a few years, best to replace it with something different?

Google image search comes up with this one, looks very similar, might be worth googling the model of shower its compatible with (Midas Shower CMD100FS.19) to see if it matches what you have.

This looks close https://www.showerdoc.com/aqualisa-futori-thermo-c... try sending them the photos.

edit - 910841 does look closer, https://www.showerdoc.com/aqualisa-thermostatic-ca...

If it's a simple bar mixer, might be better value to just replace the whole thing?
