ice maker not making ice

i am googling to no avail and given the time of year the manufacturer isn't available to ask.

i have a brema ice maker that is brand new, not making ice. commercial standalone type.

it comes on, sprays water, doesn't make any ice.

the water from the spray bar is constant but not a fine mist. i am assuming it needs to be?

i have no idea what the working principle is which would help. i'm trying to find some bits to check water pressure which the manual says needs to be 1-6bar.

any ideas?

Have you a gauge on your central heating system, that should give you clue as to pressure
