Tumble dryer tripping at end of cycle

Hotpoint HNC160 condenser dryer, works perfectly until the rotary timer clicks off at cycle end.

All clean inside, no lint or damp in casing, heater element not shorted.

Any guidance will be welcome.

Unplug it and drain and clean the condensate sump and wet ducts leading to it, it will be full of damp lint.

Worth a try as it sounds like the condensate pump running in the absence of air flow might be the issue.

Everything inside is clean and dry, I think it's the timer switch as it trips out the very moment the timer dial clicks to ‘end’.
