Double Garage Door Opener - Sommer to Hormann

Current double Garage door opener is a Henderson Rebranded Sommer Marathon 550.
Its 25 years old and is troublesome.
Want to replace it with say a Hormann Supramatic 4.
Planning on doing the work myself.
Current setup has the additional 3 security rods(one either side and one in the floor) which I would like to keep.
Is this doable?
