I want to buy a coded lock for my gate but want it so it can't be opened from the other side. Can I buy 2 lockable keypads and use them together?

E.g.

You could and in theory if you open one side you lock from the other but it is flawed. What happens if you leave and someone else wants to leave or you leave but come in from the front and come back round to find it's locked from the outside. I think it could get very wearing very quickly.

This is a back to back lock. I wonder if this would work better?

Buy a dedicated product rather than try to cobble something together with two of these ^^^.

The sharp eyed will note that only one side of the above kit has holes for fixing bolts, and it isn’t (for good reason) the side you want to use!
