Boring and middle aged question, but we moved house and went from carpets to mostly hardwood floors and we have recently gotten a dog. So I'm looking at mopping the floor more.

Has anyone got a recommendation for a good cordless mop? Not steam though as we have Amtico and other laminates which apparently aren't good with steam.

Cheers

How about an actual mop and bucket?

The majority of our ground floor is LVT and we have a normal mop and it does a great job. Thought about a flashy hard floor cleaning machine but I couldn't bring myself to drop a couple of hundred quid on something a mop can do just as well.

It's a Vileda one with a spinning centrifugal spinner thing to remove the water from the mop, cost about 20 quid.

I thought all mops were cordless by default.....

But yes I'd go with one of those flat rectangular head type mops which also has a built in squirter for cleaning fluid.

Vileda spray mop is what you need.
Buy a couple of spare heads so you can wash them as they get dirty.
