Can anyone recommend a range of double wall sockets in white and ideally flush / screwless, some with USB C / some without.

I’ve found screwfix have something but I’ve not heard of the brand and there are no reviews.

https://www.screwfix.com/p/knightsbridge-13a-2-gan...

I’ve also found these from Corston but they are at the other end of the price range really.

https://www.corston.com/products/double-socket-wit...

Can anyone recommend anything else I could consider?

Thanks

Knightsbridge make a good product and of good quality. I wouldn't worry about the no reviews, they are a well-regarded electrical product.

Seconded. Good quality and sensible price. The screws on the terminals are nice and solid so that always makes the job easier.

We went with Varlight, mix of grid system and individual switches / sockets.

Personally I’d avoid anything with USB charging.

Any many are 'always on' which makes me a little nervous from a safety perspective being stuck inside a wall with no ventilation.

Thanks for all the replies. Looks like the screwfix option is worth a look.

Never really had an issue with them.
Whats your recommendation?

Just seen plenty of failures and them wear quickly across our commercial sites.

We nearly always specify MK Logic Plus for back of house/not customer facing areas in either white or metal clad as not customer facing, and something like either the same range in polished or brass for front of house (client specs) or something like a Knightsbridge.

Just find the Click Mode use a very brittle grade of plastic that seems to be less durable, and seen them wear quicker than some of the alternatives, is all. Their IP-rated sockets are particularly bad.

The MK Rapid Fit range are (as it says on the tin) very easy to fit with the wago-style connectors instead of screws.

Yeah they are great! Just always surprised at just how deep the conductor needs to go into the terminal - it's caught me out a few times. But a very clever bit of kit.

Has anyone fitted the sockets with built-in wi-fi extenders? Are they any good (at extending the wi-fi)?

I fitted several MK USB & mains double sockets around the house where sensible and felt pleased with myself ... then read on here (a year or so ago) that they could go wrong then it's harder to replace than an adaptor.

That said mine still work, none have gone back or caught fire etc yet (touch wood). The main advantage for me is that I trust the MK brand whereas I had had some adaptors of unknown heritage (cheap Chinese copies of Apple products?) go bang and some video on line of them catching fire.

I think the USB sockets are really handy, ours get used a lot, but buy a reputable brand that you trust (hope) won't go bang one day.

Yes to both, pretty decent! I fitted one in my parents' garden in a waterproof enclosure when they had their garden redone, and it seems really good. Just one-click WPS connect to the router and works well.
