I'm thinking about buying a keter shed (only a small one 6x8 max, most likely 6x4)

What do people think for bases

Ideally I want the least work possible, can I just stick it on the lawn if its level?

Ive got no clue and im shocking at DIY lol!

I put a Keter shed on a base like this, filled with gravel

Really easy and works perfectly

I don't think I would put it on grass directly. You do want it on the level.
I guess you could lay some wooden sleepers as the simplest thing. A big spirit level & off you go. Maybe some landscaping matting (thick quality) to stop things trying to grow into the shed.
The fact yours is plastic means you can kind of do what you want, at the end of the day.

We got a potting shed (not keter - wooden) & put a base down of the plastic interlocking things, having scraped the lawn away.
Actually harder than we expected to get it properly level - a bit of faffing about, but nice to get right - ours is a few years in, still solid.

Thanks for the quick reply, did it take much work to install these, or did you just stick them in the lawn then fill with gravel? sorry if thats a silly question lol

That's the kind of stuff we used.....you still want to make sure it is *level*.
Take your time, scrape the turf out of the way to make it easier to level. Not 'just sticking it on the lawn' !!
(IMHO)

8 years back - still level, & solid (size 10' x 6')

Ahh ok, thanks very much, makes sense now!, so if the ground is level, I strip away the turf and install the base!

Think im getting there now haha

heh heh!
It is 'straightforward' - you can see the landscaping fabric under ours in the picture....a bit of gravel to weigh down where the sides would go (& go just under the shed).
End result worth the effort though!
